IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) devices use multiple colors and wavelengths to target specific chromophores (water, hemoglobin, melanin or porphyrins) in order to help with a wide variety of skin issues including:
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure using a device with very thin needles to produce superficial punctures in your skin. By doing this, the body's wound healing process is activated by encouraging new collagen and elastin production. The procedure stimulates new cell growth which results in tighter, healthier, younger-looking skin with improved blood flow and the ability to absorb products more efficiently.
Microneedling is 100% natural and effective for most skin types and can be performed most areas on the body..
Reducing fine lines and wrinkles such as crows feet & lip lines
Diminished pore size
Lifting, tightening and rejuvenation of the skin
Improves the appearance of scarring, such as those from acne, burns, cuts, wounds, and stretch marks.
Fractional lasers are an ideal method for evening skin tone and texture, reducing pigmentation irregularities, and improving fine to moderate lines and wrinkles.
Fractional laser treatments work by removing columns of skin, while leaving behind areas of intact skin. The tiny areas treated by the laser stimulate a healing response, activating collagen production and bringing growth factors to the skin. The untreated areas of the skin allow for a faster healing time. Generally, the fractional lasers treat about 20% of the surface of the skin with these micro-columns. This can lead to a significant improvement in both superficial and deep lines and acne scars and generally leads to a brighter, clearer complexion.
Fractional Erbium Lasers are an excellent alternative to the more aggressive CO2 laser treatments.
The human body recognizes ink particles as foreign objects (porphyrins) causing white blood cells to attempt to break down and eliminate them. Because ink particles are so much larger than the white blood cells, the blood cells are inefficient at removing the tattoo ink, yet the body will forever work to eradicate the foreign substance which results in a tattoo that very slowly fades, but never disappears completely; ink particles unable to pass through lymph nodes; and the body being in a constant state of inflammation which could result in a weakened immune system.
Laser tattoo removal is by far and wide the most popular method for removing tattoo ink due to its high success rates and lack of serious side effects. Multiple treatments are usually required and although laser removal is highly successful, not all inks can be removed completely 100% of the time given the inconsistencies in inks.
Tattoo inks are not regulated by the FDA and many contain metals.
Laser treatments for small veins utilizing a Long Pulsed nd:YAG laser. The device sends light energy through the skin to the targeted vein without harming the surrounding tissue. As the blood absorbs the light, it heats up and causes the targeted vein to shrink, eventually resulting in its disappearance. The procedure requires no injections and no incisions. Generally patients only experience a minimal amount of heat.
For optimal results, several treatments may be necessary.
Cherry Angiomas (small red spots)
Telangiectasias (tiny veins on or around the nose and other areas of the body.)
